Naples Historical Society Foundation, Inc.

Historic preservation needs a long-term commitment, and the key to future success is sustainability. That means having financial resources available to ensure continued operation of the organization.

This is where a Planned Giving and the Endowment Program come into play. They are crucial to the future of the Society since NO government support or public funding flows to the organization. Philanthropic contributions are its lifeblood.

Mary S. Smith, the Society's Immediate Past Chair and the namesake for the Society's endowment fund, the Mary S. Smith Chariman's Council, graciously endowed the Society through three gifts totaling more than $3 million.  This visionary fiscal leadership provides enormous help to the Society.

Join her and like-minded philanthropists to make a difference...It's a small club! Consider a current gift, a pledge, or planned gift through a Charitable Gift Annuity or a Charitable Remainder Trust. Do you have a preference for another estate planning tool?

We offer name recognition for current or planned/pledged gifts, please speak with your financial advisor.  S/he is invited to call the Society to learn more.
